Overview

Central Moloney is seeking a Welder for their Metal Fabrication team in Panama City, FL. This role involves precision welding and metal fabrication to build pole-mounted transformers, contributing to a legacy of craftsmanship in the energy industry.

Responsibilities

  • Weld and fabricate metal parts to specifications using MIG techniques.
  • Read blueprints and follow detailed instructions to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Cut and shape metal to meet job requirements.
  • Smooth and finish welded components for a clean, durable result.
  • Work with different metals, including steel and aluminum.
  • Maintain a clean and safety-first work environment.
  • Document work and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Assist with other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of MIG welding experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints, follow specifications, and perform basic math.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
  • Physically fit to perform hands-on work in a production environment.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check, drug test, and physical.
