Overview

We are seeking a motivated, dependable MIG/TIG Welder. While magnesium welding experience is a plus, it is not required—we will provide training to the right candidate. If you have strong welding fundamentals, take pride in quality workmanship, and are committed to safety, we'd like to hear from you.

Requirements

  • Proficient in MIG and TIG welding with strong welding techniques and best practices.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and standard welding symbols.
  • Experience preparing and fabricating materials using tools such as angle grinders, plasma cutters, band saws, and chop saws.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Physically capable of standing for extended periods, working in various positions, and lifting heavy metal components.
  • Committed to maintaining a safe work environment through strict adherence to OSHA regulations and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Industry certifications (AWS or equivalent) are preferred.

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG and TIG work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle. It lays down metal fast and is forgiving on clean material, which is why it dominates production and light fabrication work. TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
