Overview

A growing fabrication and event production shop in Shadow Hills is seeking a hard-working installer/fabrication assistant. The role involves installing custom backdrops, signage, and displays, with opportunities for overtime and advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Install custom backdrops, signage, displays, and event builds throughout Los Angeles.
  • Assist in the fabrication shop by building, painting, assembling, wrapping, loading, and preparing projects.
  • Clean, organize, and load trucks as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable driving Sprinter vans and U-Haul style box trucks.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
  • Willingness to work on ladders.
  • Ability to take direction and corrections without taking it personally.
  • Ideally live reasonably close to Sun Valley.

Additional Information

  • Starting pay is $19/hour for the first two weeks, increasing to $21/hour on the third week.
  • Occasional weekends and late nights required.
  • Fast-paced work environment with early mornings, late nights, long days, and last-minute changes.
