Position Title: Welder/Fabricator Wage: $25.00-$28.00 per hour Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm; 4:30pm-3:00am (Mon-Thurs) We are seeking skilled and motivated Welders to join a great manufacturing and fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Welder/Fabricator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials. - Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, work orders, and production drawings. - Measure, cut, fit, align, and assemble materials prior to welding. - Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. - Operate welding equipment, hand tools, grinders, saws, and fabrication equipment. - Maintain proper welding settings and perform routine equipment maintenance. - Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times. - Work closely with supervisors, quality personnel, and team members to meet production goals. - Complete quality checks and documentation as required. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. Mandatory Requirements: - 3+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment - Ability to pass a weld test. - Experience with MIG welding processes. - Ability to read blueprints and understand welding symbols. - Strong attention to detail and quality standards. - Basic math and measurement skills. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. - Welding certifications are a plus but not required. Preferred Skills:  - Fabrication experience. - Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts. - Knowledge of AWS welding standards. - Familiarity with precision measuring tools, including tape measures, calipers, and micrometers. - Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum. Physical Requirements: - Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift. - Lift, push, pull, and carry materials up to 50 pounds. - Ability to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing environments. - Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment.
