Education Requirements

• No formal education requirement.

• Welding certification or technical training is a plus.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain required welding qualifications and certifications based on product requirements.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Experience welding stainless steel, precious metals, and semi-precious metals according to specifications.

• Ability to perform GTAW (TIG) pipe welding, including V-Groove Open Root Schedule 40 316 Pipe testing.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, engineering drawings, and fabrication documents.

• Knowledge of welding equipment, measuring tools, inspection methods, and quality standards.

• Experience troubleshooting welding defects and maintaining weld quality.

• Strong commitment to safety, attendance, and workmanship.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift.

• Frequent use of welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments.

• Ability to lift, move, and position metal materials and fabricated components as needed.

• Capable of working in production environments while wearing required PPE.

• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Job Duties

• Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on production and prototype components according to specification and certification requirements.

• Weld stainless steel, pipe, and specialty metal products while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

• Set up fixtures, welding equipment, and workpieces for production and prototype fabrication.

• Operate welding machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.

• Troubleshoot weld quality issues and recommend process improvements.

• Conduct welds that meet destructive and non-destructive testing standards.

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to establish welding parameters and improve processes.

• Assist in training and supporting other welders as needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and follow all company safety procedures.

What You Will Do

As a Welder you will perform TIG welding on fabricated components, interpret blueprints and welding specifications, prepare materials, inspect completed welds, operate fabrication equipment, verify measurements, maintain welding equipment, and support safe, accurate, and efficient manufacturing operations while producing high-quality finished products.

• Perform welding tasks in the manufacture of products to conform with specifications and certification requirements.

• Weld production and more difficult prototype instrumentation piece parts in various materials including stainless steel, precious and semi-precious metals.

• GTAW (TIG) PROCESS PIPE WELDING 1 EA V-GROOVE OPEN ROOT S40 316 PIPE TEST REQUIRED (2HR Time frame)
