Overview

The Welder position at Regal Rexnord involves performing setup on various welding components, requiring a high degree of skill and adherence to strict quality standards. Regal Rexnord is a global industrial manufacturer focused on providing sustainable solutions for motion control.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy with alignment, dimensions, materials, and inspection requirements.
  • Setup weldments according to blueprint specifications.
  • Perform MIG welding to blueprint specifications.
  • Utilize TIG, Arc, Stud welding, and torch operations.
  • Properly setup welding machines for adequate penetration.
  • Clean welds to check for imperfections.
  • Ensure proper finish squareness.
  • Interpret work orders, blueprints, and bills of material.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Effective communication skills before groups.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
  • Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
  • Common sense understanding to carry out instructions in various forms.
  • Ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables.
  • Basic personal computer skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
