Overview

As a Welder (Rotating Equipment) at Alfa Laval, you will be an integral member of the manufacturing team, responsible for assembling and fabricating metal components for separation equipment. This role offers the opportunity to apply your welding expertise and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform common welding work, including fitting, by applying heat to bond/fuse metal surfaces or parts according to Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs)
• Use hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches to assemble metal components
• Inspect existing weldments to identify areas of weakness and perform necessary repairs
• Use welding equipment to perform metal cutting/trimming work or fabricate simple fixtures
• Possess at least one welder approval certificate according to relevant standard/code
• Execute production work according to ALPS standards and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of professional welding experience (experience in separation equipment is preferred)
• Optional: 1 to 2 years of experience in manual machining or milling
