Overview

We are seeking experienced MIG Welders to support forklift manufacturing operations in Houston. Welders will perform MIG welding on metal components and assemblies used in forklift mast manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on metal components and structural assemblies.
  • Weld metal plates and components according to work instructions and production requirements.
  • Complete different types of welds, including circular welds and T-joints.
  • Prepare, position, and secure materials before welding.
  • Inspect welds for visible defects and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Follow welding procedures, production instructions, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Work with supervisors and production team members to meet manufacturing goals.

Requirements

  • Previous hands-on MIG welding experience required.
  • Ability to successfully pass a practical MIG welding test.
  • Experience welding thicker metal materials preferred.
  • Ability to produce consistent, quality welds.
  • Knowledge of welding safety procedures and proper PPE.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Additional Information

  • Location: Houston, TX
  • Schedule: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM, approximately 4–5 days per week.
  • First-day safety training: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
  • Overtime and weekly schedules may vary based on production needs.
