Overview

TekWissen is a global workforce management provider that offers strategic talent solutions. The MWD Assembler position involves assembling and testing products for an oilfield services company, which is the world’s largest offshore drilling company.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components of all Product Lines.
  • Select correct tools and fixtures.
  • Test assembled products.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
  • Ensure ability to read blueprints.
  • Identify components.
  • Use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques.
  • Operate equipment.
  • Dimension and set tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
  • Create labor records for all transactions.
  • Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience.
  • High School / Technical School education.
  • Proficient in soldering down to component level.
  • Ability to read procedures.
  • IPC 610 certification.
