Overview

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of machinery, equipment, and facilities. This role requires a robust technical aptitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform more complex maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Independently troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical tests to identify problems.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop maintenance strategies.
  • Operate machines related to production.
  • Train and mentor Level 1 technicians and Machine Operators.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment.
  • Document and communicate actions and irregularities.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas.
  • Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain an open relationship with the supervisor.
  • Adhere to company values and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Pipe fitting, pump repair, and plumbing repair experience.
  • Mechanical knowledge of conveyors and material transfer equipment.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
  • Experience with packaging equipment.
  • Basic electrical knowledge with 110/220/480 volt power.
  • General experience with building maintenance.
  • Experience with Liquid fill equipment.

  • HOURS: 6:30 am - 3:30 pm | Monday - Friday
