Overview

Bragg Companies, founded in 1946, is one of the largest integrated service companies in the construction industry, specializing in crane service, rigging, and heavy haul. They are currently seeking a QC Specialist I for their Long Beach, CA branch.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and quality testing on materials, equipment, and systems during construction and maintenance.
  • Review welding procedures and welder qualifications for project compliance.
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain job package records.
  • Provide timely reports to customers and management.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers and regulatory representatives.
  • Travel to local and remote job sites as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in power generation, boilers, construction, and piping, and/or refineries.
  • Must have and maintain a CAWI or CWI.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.

  • Primarily office-based (25%), with frequent work in outdoor and industrial settings, including refineries and construction sites.

  • Requires regular climbing, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, and sitting for extended periods.
