Overview

Cadrex is searching for a Maintenance Technician II to perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, facility equipment, and physical structures. The role contributes to building advanced AI hardware used by leading companies worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Perform highly diversified duties in maintaining production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
  • Develop work instructions for production and facility’s equipment to build a preventive maintenance system.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools and electric multimeters.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of equipment, machines, and facilities.
  • Install new production machinery and equipment.
  • Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective materials or equipment and report as required.
  • Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas.
  • Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
  • Provide emergency service and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance repairs to production equipment during machine service.
  • Start machines and equipment to test operation following repair.
  • Repair broken parts, replace defective parts and motors, belts, and adjust feed mechanisms.
  • Connect wires to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replace switches and fuses, and splice wire.
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Patch or replace plaster/plaster board and paint walls, ceilings, and trim of buildings.
  • May be required to use personal vehicle at times for work assignments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated electronics knowledge and ability to understand mechanical processes.
  • Possess electronics knowledge and basic knowledge of hydraulics.
  • Previous experience in a machine shop performing maintenance mechanic duties preferred.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Associate/Technical degree in related field preferred.

Additional Information

  • Onsite work location.
  • Schedule: M-F; 7:00am - 3:30pm.
  • Employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration.
  • Occasional exposure to the risk of electrical shock.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
  • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
