Overview

Aggreko is seeking a Technician 1 for Air Compressor in Lemont, IL, focusing on providing power solutions for various industries. This role involves maintenance and repair of electrical distribution equipment and oil-free air compressors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of electrical distribution equipment and oil-free air compressors.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and occasionally at customer locations.
  • Work overtime and weekends as needed, with potential for travel.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED.
  • 4+ years of experience working on power generators, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Experience with calculating nominal and effective kW requirements and reading schematics.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
  • May need to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
