Overview

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic for the first shift in the Callow Hill, Philadelphia area. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in maintenance functions and a strong knowledge of various production line equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and monitor production line equipment.
  • Perform predictive and preventive maintenance.
  • Install, repair, and maintain pumps.
  • Install, repair, and maintain valves.
  • Install, repair, and maintain pneumatic equipment.
  • Conduct pipe fitting.
  • Work with PLCs and VFDs.
  • Install, repair, and maintain motors and gears.
  • Perform basic tack welding.
  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting.
  • Handle electric systems including single, two, and three phase power up to 480v and AC/DC.
  • Manage spare parts inventory.
  • Perform general building maintenance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in maintenance functions.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in various building trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry).
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to climb up and down ladders and steps.
  • Must have your own basic tools.
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures and use all required personal protective equipment.
