Overview

Race Winning Brands (RWB) is looking for Welders to join their team that produces performance parts for riders and racers. The role involves various welding and metalworking tasks, contributing to the production of high-quality components.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG/TIG welding, metal working, deburring, measurement and visual inspection.
  • Complete job tracking paperwork and labor time reporting.
  • Produce at a pace at or above standard rates.
  • Learn to produce highly cosmetic weld joints.
  • Follow directions and complete assignments as prioritized by Production Supervisor.
  • Assist in training Welder 1’s to meet internal standards.
  • Overcome minor dimensional or fitment problems.
  • Read manufacturing drawings or work instructions.
  • Connect parts using established welding parameters.
  • Inspect work to ensure compliance with requirements and workmanship standards.
  • Perform secondary operations to complete parts or add features.
  • Follow established work procedures and standard practices.
  • Monitor quality of work to meet established criteria.
  • Achieve established targets for daily output.
  • Keep work area to 6S standards.
  • Perform additional duties and assignments as requested.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Vocational school or certified welding program is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MIG and/or TIG welding.

What you'll be running

TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
