Overview

Milacron is seeking a Field Service Technician for 100% travel in Texas/Oklahoma, responsible for installations, maintenance, and repairs of plastic injection/extrusion equipment, with a focus on troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair plastic injection/extrusion equipment
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities on equipment
  • Effectively interface with customers in repairing equipment as needed
  • Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs
  • Install computer software programs to manufactured machines

Requirements

  • Associate degree in industrial electricity, electronic engineering technology, or related field, or equivalent training and experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with hydraulics, mechanics, and/or similar skillsets
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime as necessary
  • 2+ years of experience working with plastic injection/extrusion equipment or similar types of equipment or machine tool
  • Mechanical, electrical, machining, and hydraulic circuit skills
  • Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics

Additional Information

  • $3000 sign-on bonus
  • 100% travel but home on most weekends
  • Per diem, company vehicle, credit card provided
