Putzmeister is a leader in concrete pump manufacturing and support, emphasizing innovation and reliability. The Field Service Technician will act as a representative in Houston, building relationships to provide premier product support and achieve sales objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage time and territory to resolve customer equipment problems in the field.
• Travel to customer locations for troubleshooting on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
• Communicate information regarding repairs and customer-related issues professionally.
• Provide in-service or commissioning of new equipment at customer locations.
• Train customers and agents on machine operation and repair techniques.
• Provide technical support to agents and customers through various communication channels.
• Coordinate inspections and repairs for customers, completing necessary documentation.
• Support Authorized Service Centers for repair work and parts purchases.
• Evaluate and select potential Service Centers against established standards.
• Prepare and file field service reports weekly.
• Stay updated on industry technology and trends.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.
• 5-10 years of technical experience.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Associates or BS degree in Engineering, Heavy Equipment Technology, or equivalent experience.
• In-depth knowledge of mobile hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Multi-lingual skills in Spanish and/or German are a plus.
• Concrete industry experience is a plus.
• Mandatory safety training.
