Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ironworker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and assembling structural steel, miscellaneous metal components, and other related materials on construction sites.

Responsibilities

  • Safely perform installation and assembly of structural steel and miscellaneous metal components according to project specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings to determine the correct placement and assembly of materials.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment to lift, position, and secure metal structures accurately.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals such as welders, crane operators, and general contractors to complete projects efficiently.
  • Inspect work for quality control, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and project requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on site.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Ironworker or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to working with steel, metal components, and construction equipment.
  • Physical strength and stamina to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
  • Certification in OSHA safety standards or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
