Overview

We are looking for a skilled Shop Technician to join our team in Denver, CO. The person hired will be responsible for a performing a variety of tasks to support manufacturing and fabrication work at Campos Fabrication.

Responsibilities

  • Following blueprints, building plans, and sketches to understand project requirements.
  • Accurately measuring and cutting metal, wood, plastic, and other materials to size using a variety of tools.
  • Constructing and assembling structural elements.
  • Proficiently using a range of hand tools and power tools.
  • Applying protective coatings and paints to large structures and equipment.
  • Understanding and communicating client requirements and project risks.
  • Establishing ownership of project tasks and providing feedback to team members.
  • Assessing project issues and identifying solutions to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinating and communicating with multiple departments and clients.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in mechanical fabrication and a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience painting preferred.
  • Knowledge of welding and blueprint reading are a nice to have.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
