Overview

TFI Inline Design is hiring a Polypropylene Welder to build custom lab benches, enclosures, and chemical-resistant components in Commerce City, CO. TFI specializes in the design and fabrication of custom polypropylene systems used in advanced laboratory environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform polypropylene (PP) welding and plastic fabrication
  • Build lab benches, cabinets, and enclosures from engineered plastics
  • Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools
  • Read and follow blueprints and technical drawings
  • Use hot air welding and extrusion welding equipment
  • Inspect finished parts for quality, strength, and accuracy

Requirements

  • Experience in plastic welding, fabrication, or manufacturing
  • Familiarity with polypropylene (PP), PVC, or similar materials
  • Ability to read basic blueprints/drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship
  • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and work with tools safely
  • Experience with extrusion welding or hot air welding (preferred)
  • Background in custom fabrication or industrial production (preferred)
  • Experience building chemical-resistant equipment or enclosures (preferred)
