Job Description

Overview

DMC Power is seeking Welders for its Olive Branch production facility, offering a climate-controlled environment and training for candidates with basic welding skills. The company values long-term employment and career growth, making it an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Expertly and precisely TIG-weld aluminum and copper components and assemblies per engineering drawings.
  • Produce rapidly and efficiently high quality precise welded parts and assemblies.
  • Read and comprehend blueprints and specifications.
  • Set up and TIG-weld components together to make complex assemblies per engineering drawings.
  • Work in conjunction with other crews and lead persons and keep the equipment and their areas clean.
  • Maintain and repair welding machinery, equipment, and tools.

Requirements

  • Ability to rapidly and efficiently produce high-quality welded parts and assemblies.
  • Ability to read manufacturing drawings, routers, safety warnings, and guidelines.
  • Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety.
  • Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers.
  • Must be reliable and great attendance is a must.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Graduation from high school and a certificate from a welding school, college, or a recognized craftsman apprenticeship program or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of welding experience preferred, with recent welding school graduates encouraged to apply.
  • OSHA 10-hour safety course would be a plus.
