Job Description

Overview

The Welding Team Member is responsible for assigned manufacturing tasks, including welding and assembling parts according to customer specifications, while ensuring safety, quality of work, and efficient production flow.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all standard work procedures.
  • Meet production requirements and complete all production sheets.
  • Stop, call, and wait for all abnormal conditions.
  • Follow all safety procedures and communicate issues with TL/GL.
  • Perform required quality checks.
  • Participate in a manufacturing system emphasizing teamwork, safety training, and discipline.
  • Utilize TPS techniques to standardize processes and eliminate waste.
  • Maintain daily 5S in the work area and equipment.
  • Work well with other team members.
  • Understand and work by the TB Way philosophy.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in precision measuring equipment.
  • Must be able to work a fixed or rotating shift schedule, including daily or weekend overtime.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Show and maintain professionalism.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious self-starter.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural work environment.
  • Ability to work with multiple departments.
  • Ability to complete forms and reports.
  • Ability to exercise on a daily basis.
  • Ability to maintain on-call flexibility to control abnormal conditions.
  • Perceptive person, capable of relating to individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to communicate and work well with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible in a constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of any information encountered.
  • English, both written and oral required.
