Overview

The Welder position involves welding products to specifications using various welding equipment, including MIG and TIG. The role emphasizes quality and adherence to safety and documentation procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for welding of parts
  • Inspection of parts
  • Following safety procedures
  • Correct documentation (timekeeping, BOM’s, prints, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned such as general maintenance, housekeeping

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience of wire feed welding
  • Welding experience in a related industry preferred
  • Welding technology degree (2-yr) preferred
  • Ability to pass AHI welding certification within 90 days of hire for multiple processes
  • Ability to setup and run various programs on welding equipment
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Strong math and mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Comfortable using various computer software
  • Ability to use and read measuring equipment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

What you'll be running
