Join our team in Mobile, AL 36608 as a Structural Steel Fabrication Welder, where your craft will shape heavy steel components into safe, reliable structures. You will translate drawings into precise welds, keep projects on schedule, and uphold the highest bar for quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Decode blueprints and technical drawings to determine joint design, materials, and welding parameters
  • Execute production and assembly welds using MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored processes on a range of metals
  • Verify weld quality through visual checks and measurements to meet specifications and codes
  • Champion safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workstation
  • Partner with teammates to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on welding equipment
  • Engage in ongoing training to sharpen technique and expand certifications

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; welding certifications (e.g., AWS) preferred
  • Demonstrated experience as a structural welder in manufacturing or construction
  • Solid understanding of welding processes, base metals/fillers, and safety standards
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Keen attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability
