Job Description
Overview
You will serve as a Sheet Metal Worker (Aircraft) in the MRO Production Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST, interpreting technical drawings and operating tools for repair and installation work.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals to guide repair and installation work.
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machines with proficiency.
- Provide on-the-job training to lower level employees and assist with troubleshooting more complex tasks.
- Maintain inventory of sheet metal parts, supplies, and materials while ensuring work meets safety standards and quality control procedures.
