Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Fabricator and Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC laser cutting machines with precision, programming and setting up equipment according to technical specifications and blueprints.
  • Fabricate sheet metal components utilizing forming machines, press brakes, stamping presses, plasma cutters, and other fabrication tools.
  • Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate production.
  • Set up and operate machining tools including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, electrical discharge machining, and other related equipment.
  • Perform measurement and inspection using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools to verify quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and following safety standards in production.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize fabrication processes, improve efficiency, and uphold quality control standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication combined with proficiency in CNC laser cutting and programming.
  • 2 - 3 Years of Tru Bend Trumpf Press Brake and Trumpf Fiber Laser Cutter experience.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and shop math.
  • Skilled in measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools for quality inspection.
  • Knowledge of safety standards relevant to machine operation and metal fabrication environments.
  • Ability to operate hand tools effectively and set up machining tools accurately.
  • Basic understanding of electrical discharge machining, plasma cutting techniques, and tooling processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision measurement in machining tasks.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude combined with good communication skills for teamwork and safety compliance.

  • Enjoy the flexibility to choose your schedule: 4–10s: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM, with Friday overtime OR 5–8s: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.
