Position Title: Welder/Fabricator Wage: $22.00-$29.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 2:00pm-12:00am Monday-Thursday 4-10s If you take pride in strong, clean welds and enjoy working in a fast-paced fabrication environment, this role is for you. As a Welder, you’ll be hands-on in producing high-quality metal components that meet customer and quality standards. You’ll work with a variety of materials and thicknesses, move between welding areas as needed, and play an important role in building products you can stand behind. Welder/Fabricator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Team & Communication - Be an active, reliable teammate who supports production goals - Communicate clearly with your Team Leader and provide updates on progress or issues - Follow company policies and standard procedures to keep operations running smoothly Technical & Welding - Perform welding and fabrication work across multiple materials and thicknesses - Troubleshoot welding inconsistencies and correct equipment or setup issues - Follow welding procedures, blueprints, and technical standards to ensure consistency and quality - Adjust welding equipment to match job specifications Welder/Fabricator Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Technical degree preferred with 3+ years of welding experience - Moderate to advanced welding skills - Ability to weld in flat and vertical positions - Strong understanding of welding procedures and specifications - Ability to read and interpret blueprints - Proficient with measuring devices and welding equipment adjustments - Basic computer skills - Solid understanding of manufacturing fundamentals - Ability to follow direction, adapt quickly, and stay flexible in a changing environment - Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds for short periods - Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout the workday - Materials and equipment used: hand and power tools (pliers, screwdrivers, drills, tape measures, etc.); welding equipment and PPE (helmet, gloves, safety glasses, ear protection); forklift; computers and printers IND999 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
