Overview

Manufacturing Operations is accepting applications for the position of Maintenance Trainee at the El Segundo, California Refinery. This entry-level position includes a comprehensive 3-year training program with on-the-job assignments and classroom training.

Responsibilities

  • Machinist Trainee: Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, blowers, turbines, fin fans and gearboxes.
  • Metals Craft Trainee: Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and perform welding and structural work.
  • Instrument/Electrician (I&E) Trainee: Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical components and systems.
  • Instrument/Analyzer (I&A) Trainee: Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on online analytical systems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • A valid Driver's License.
  • Minimum 2 years of any type of work experience, including military experience.
  • Ability to use computers for work histories and corporate compliance activities.
  • Willingness to work a 4x10 dayshift schedule, including overtime, holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Ability to work outside in inclement weather and in compact spaces.
  • Commitment to a harassment-free work environment and safety standards.
