The Machine Operator (5 Axis) position at Arktura LLC involves operating production machines safely and efficiently under the guidance of senior personnel. Responsibilities

• Clock in and perform transactions in Shop-Trak, providing updates on projects and material moves.
• Load, unload, receive, and store raw materials and supplies.
• Prepare machines for production cycles, including calibration and cleaning.
• Use computer-aided manufacturing programs to monitor and adjust machine settings.
• Perform periodic checks on machinery and troubleshoot issues.
• Complete work to meet production and schedule requirements.
• Perform minor repairs and routine preventative maintenance on machines.
• Assist peers and cross-train on other machines as needed.
• Identify product defects and report nonconformances.
• Coordinate movement of parts and products to the next operation.
• Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment.
• Maintain equipment and work areas, cleaning and performing basic repairs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of machine operating experience.
• Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain machinery effectively.
• Basic arithmetic and computer skills.
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
• Ability to understand oral and written instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear required PPE.
• Ability to work off shift hours as needed.
• Proficiency in core production roles within 90 days of hire is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• Knowledge of G-Code may be required based on position.
