Overview

AmeriGas, founded in 1959, is the nation’s premier propane company, serving over 1.5 million customers. They are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their ACE business, responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair devices, machines, and equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all ACE equipment.
  • Ensure building structures and fixtures are operating smoothly.
  • Document all work performed.
  • Train employees on handling equipment as required.
  • Model commitment to safety and follow company safety procedures.

Requirements

  • 1 year of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Experience in plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Workable computer skills including typing and web-based programs.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Industrial preventive maintenance practices and repair experience.
  • Electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic welding and carpentry experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs like Word and Excel.
