DAS Aviation is a leading repair organization that values its employees and offers a supportive work environment. The Aircraft Structures Technician role involves performing various sheet metal operations and requires knowledge of aircraft structures and related techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, and cutting on airframe components.
  • Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening, and finish materials.
  • Maintain, clean, and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling as required.
  • Safely operate shop equipment such as brakes, presses, riveting equipment, shears, and hand tools.
  • Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
  • Communicate effectively in English.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Airframe and Powerplant License is not required but welcome.
  • Valid driver's license approved for airline travel and/or valid passport is ideal but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal or fabrication processes.
  • 0-5 years of experience as a sheet metal technician for Journeyman level.
  • 5+ years of experience as a sheet metal technician for Master level.
  • Self-motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation to work.
