Overview

T.I. is the global leader in specialty metals supply for various markets, providing dependable, quality-driven service since 1972. The saw operator is responsible for operating warehouse equipment, ensuring safety and maintenance, and managing work orders efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Correctly record all IP processes in the ERP system and written requirements of work orders.
  • Understand efficient utilization of equipment and participate in 'in process' inspections.
  • Meet all daily scheduled requirements and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Perform maintenance programs including daily checklists and maintain operational efficiencies.
  • Utilize and maintain tools for equipment operations, controlling saw blade usage and coolant.
  • Understand and work within all safety and quality policies and procedures.
  • Comprehend inventory control, traceability, yield, and maintain accurate storage of products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Speak, read, and write English.
  • 2 years of machine operation experience.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
