Overview

The Yard Associate at PERI Formwork Systems, Inc. in Bridgewater, NJ, is responsible for supporting the stockyard operations through various welding tasks while maintaining a Safety-First Culture.

Responsibilities

• Prep, weld, and final prep all material required for welding.
• Repair PERI material based on rental criteria and working instructions.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with inventory preparation and counting.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Assist with performing yard maintenance and clean-up.
• Complete all assigned job tasks within designated timeframe.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety and housekeeping processes and procedures.
• Assist in job shadowing new employees.

Requirements

• Previous welding experience.
• Similar work experience may be beneficial.
• Forklift knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Experience using small hand and power tools and can read a tape measure.
• Flexible, responds well to changing circumstances, overcomes challenges, and maintains a positive attitude.
• Prioritizes safety, identifies potential risks, and ensures compliance with safety standards.

Additional Information

• The allocated hourly wage for this role is between $19.50 to $22.00 per hour.
• PERI participates in E-Verify.
