• Specialized Materials: The manufacturing process frequently involves welding thin-gauge stainless steels, nickel alloys (such as Inconel), and aluminum. TIG welding provides the precise heat control needed to prevent warping or burning through these materials.

• Leak-Tight Sealing: Because fuel cell systems transport hydrogen, natural gas, or biogas, welds must pass strict non-destructive leak testing (such as helium leak detection or pressure testing) to prevent gas escape.
