Overview

FNF Construction, Inc. is a general contractor providing heavy civil construction services throughout the Southwestern United States. The Carpenter is responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled construction work on highway, bridge, and general infrastructure projects, including fabricating and installing formwork, assisting with concrete placement and finishing, and operating a wide range of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Safely perform highway and bridge structure formwork, including curb and gutter form fabrication.
  • Assist masons with placing and finishing concrete, including flatwork and structural elements.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, basic design documents, and specifications.
  • Ensure work complies with applicable Building Code requirements.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools efficiently and safely.
  • Perform physical labor as needed to support project progress.
  • Follow directions from the Project Superintendent and work effectively as part of a field crew.

Requirements

  • Welding experience required.
  • AWS certifications required.
  • 2–5 years of carpentry experience in construction, preferably in Heavy Highway environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and layout.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and maintain high-quality workmanship.
  • General construction knowledge and familiarity with industry safety practices.

  • Travel to various job sites is required.
