Job Description

Overview

Barrett Trailers is hiring experienced Aluminum MIG Welders at their Purcell manufacturing facility to build custom livestock trailers for ranchers, haulers, and commercial fleets. The position offers a regular Monday–Thursday schedule, benefits, and Friday overtime when production requires it.

Responsibilities

  • MIG weld aluminum trailer components to meet production and quality standards.
  • Fit and align parts before welding.
  • Read tape measures, blueprints, and fabrication drawings.
  • Inspect your work for weld quality and accuracy.
  • Use hand tools and fabrication equipment safely.
  • Work with your team to keep production moving and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Requirements

  • Previous aluminum MIG welding experience is required.
  • Ability to consistently produce strong, clean welds.
  • Experience using hand tools and basic fabrication equipment.
  • Dependable attendance and readiness to start work on time.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to take direction.
  • Ability to perform the physical duties of the job, including prolonged standing and lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
