Overview

Brady Trucking, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Welder to join our team in Vernal, Utah. The ideal candidate will have strong fabrication and welding skills, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
  • Fabricate, repair, and modify equipment and components as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
  • Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Inspect finished welds for accuracy and structural integrity

Requirements

  • Proven welding and fabrication experience required
  • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding
  • Experience welding mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG and TIG work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle. TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
