Overview

Carlisle Companies is a leading manufacturer of building envelope products and solutions focused on innovation and continuous improvement. They are seeking an Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician responsible for performing maintenance activities and supporting equipment installations while prioritizing safety and plant performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures.
• Install, assemble, disassemble, repair, and maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, fans, and rotating equipment.
• Perform equipment alignment.
• Participate in plant expansion projects, equipment relocations, upgrades, and capital improvement initiatives.
• Fabricate, modify, and repair structural steel components and other mechanical structures.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, hydraulic schematics, and pneumatic diagrams.
• Perform welding, cutting, fitting, and mechanical fabrication work.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and working-at-height requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update work orders within CMMS systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience in production and plant equipment.
• Experience with pump troubleshooting, rebuilding, repair, and replacement.
• Ability to determine and implement new Preventive Maintenance procedures.
• Working knowledge of steam boilers, thermal oil heaters, and industrial air compressors.
• Experience in mechanical construction and structural steel fabrication.
• Strong background in troubleshooting mechanical systems and performing root cause failure analysis.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and with minimum supervision.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work from ladders or lifts.
• Experience operating hand tools such as drills, grinders, and saws.
