Overview

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic/Laborer to join our Avondale, AZ location. As a Maintenance Mechanic with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will work as part of a team to keep equipment running through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical maintenance, fabrication, assembly, welding, cutting, shoveling and other duties as assigned.
  • Troubleshoot, dismantle, repair, and reassemble mechanical equipment.
  • Conduct preventive inspections and document findings.
  • Maintain safe work areas and operate mobile equipment as needed.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-year of mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Experience operating mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts).
  • Good organizational and math skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
