Job Description

Overview

The Maintenance Technician is a technical leader responsible for maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance in a highly automated production environment. This role involves advanced troubleshooting across various production technologies and mentoring team members while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, robotic, vision, and automation systems.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Serve as the primary escalation resource for advanced equipment and automation issues.
  • Analyze maintenance data to improve reliability, efficiency, and equipment performance.
  • Recommend equipment upgrades and process improvements to reduce downtime.
  • Mentor and train Maintenance Technicians on troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
  • Support onboarding and development of new technicians through training and coaching.
  • Lead daily shift meetings to communicate safety updates and operational goals.
  • Provide feedback to leadership regarding team performance and development opportunities.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and provide shift leadership when supervisors are unavailable.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with CMMS work order standards.
  • Develop and update SOPs, PM procedures, troubleshooting guides, and LOTO documentation.
  • Audit preventive maintenance activities to ensure quality and effectiveness.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and equipment reliability.
  • Champion workplace safety through LOTO compliance and proactive risk identification.
  • Assist in developing Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and support ongoing safety training efforts.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure maintenance activities meet compliance requirements.
  • Identify critical spare parts requirements and support inventory optimization efforts.
  • Assist with storeroom audits and ensure availability of essential repair components.

  • Onsite role in Lewisville, TX.
  • Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 6AM-6:30PM.
