Overview

The Pipefitter Helper position involves planning, laying out, and performing various pipe fitting and fabrication tasks according to industry standards. The role requires effective communication and collaboration within a team while maintaining high-quality work and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Continually seek opportunities to share knowledge and teach others.
  • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage, and time.
  • Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Look for opportunities for improvement in all tasks and methods.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members.
  • Produce high-quality work safely and productively at all times.
  • Provide feedback to ensure all materials, tools, equipment, and information are available for the work.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards.
  • Must have a minimum of three to six plus years of experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry.
  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
