Overview

Due to growth within our welding department, we are looking for qualified welders to join our Night and Day Shift Weld team. Our welders report to the manufacturing manager and must be knowledgeable in reading blueprints and following instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints.
  • Produce high quality products.
  • Focus on details and demonstrate efficient time management.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
  • Learn all aspects of Diamond Mowers’ product line continuously.
  • Maintain great attendance to ensure manufacturing plans are met.
  • Ensure proper lifting techniques and ask for assistance when needed.
  • Keep a neat and clean work environment.
  • Wear proper safety gear where/when required.
  • Strive for an injury free workplace through a 'safety first' attitude.
  • Be consistently punctual and present for all assigned shifts.
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Requirements

  • 1 year of welding experience preferred.
  • Welding Certification preferred.
  • Forklift Certification preferred.
  • Blueprint Knowledge preferred.
  • Weld symbol knowledge preferred.

  • Address: 1000 Cherokee St
  • Day shift - 6:00am - 4:30pm
  • Night Shift - 4:30pm - 3:00am
  • Days of Shift: Monday - Thursday
