Overview

The Tig Welder position involves reading and interpreting shop drawings to fabricate and weld sheet metal parts into completed fixtures. The role requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment while ensuring quality assurance of completed items.

Requirements

  • Must pass tig welding practical test
  • Must be able to read blueprints

  • High School Diploma preferred

Additional Information

  • Must be able to stand/walk for 8-10 hours per day
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Must be able to work in an area that is not climate controlled in the summer months
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach on an occasional basis
  • Must pass drug test
  • Required to furnish welding hood and own hand tools
  • Pay depends on experience
