Overview

King Marine Canvas is seeking an experienced professional upholsterer to join their custom canvas and upholstery shop, which has been established for over 40 years in the Greater Seattle / Puget Sound area. The company values quality, dependability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture raw goods into finished products, ready for install or delivery.
  • Ensure attention to detail and precise measurements.
  • Use hand tools and operate power tools.
  • Organize workflow, prioritize orders, and meet customer needs and production deadlines.
  • Support other team members in the field and at the shop.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in canvas or upholstery/cushions is preferred.
  • Experience with installation and on-site delivery is a plus.
  • Experience with building furniture or reupholstery is a plus.
  • Experience with creating custom patterns or templates is a plus.
  • Experience with garment alterations or tailoring is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Full-Time position, Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts with overtime opportunities available.
