Overview

The Full-Time Ride Mechanic role involves repairing, operating, rehabbing, and maintaining park rides and equipment. This position requires a varied skill set and the ability to work in different conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Repair, operate, rehab and provide general maintenance to park rides and equipment.

Requirements

  • One to two years of maintenance experience involving industrial or heavy equipment maintenance and mechanical repair procedures.
  • Varied skill set including knowledge of general maintenance, welding, and machine shop repair.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, days, nights, and weekends including extended hours when required.
  • Physically able to climb stairs and ride units with heights of 50 or more feet.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift regularly.
  • Self-motivated and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • At least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to provide own basic hand tools.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Successfully complete all authorized employment screenings and criminal background checks.
