Overview

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler (B) for the 1st Shift in Glenolden, PA. The role involves assembling and testing components using tools and fixtures based on manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electro-mechanical components from work orders and engineering drawings.
  • Use machines or hand tools to secure parts in place.
  • Mount electrical components such as transformers and resistors.
  • Make electrical connections using soldering or related procedures.
  • Test parts during assembly using equipment like multimeters.
  • Assist in resolving production failures or product issues.
  • Initiate continuous improvement for product safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Work in a team environment for flow assembly work.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in an electro-mechanical environment.
  • Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools.
  • Basic understanding of electronic theory and Ohm’s law.

Additional Information

  • Core hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm, M-F.
  • Hourly rate is $22 per hour.
  • No relocation benefit is offered; candidates must be within a 50-mile radius.
