Overview
Eaton’s IS AER FED division is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler (B) for the 1st Shift in Glenolden, PA. The role involves assembling and testing components using tools and fixtures based on manufacturing documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electro-mechanical components from work orders and engineering drawings.
- Use machines or hand tools to secure parts in place.
- Mount electrical components such as transformers and resistors.
- Make electrical connections using soldering or related procedures.
- Test parts during assembly using equipment like multimeters.
- Assist in resolving production failures or product issues.
- Initiate continuous improvement for product safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Work in a team environment for flow assembly work.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in an electro-mechanical environment.
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools.
- Basic understanding of electronic theory and Ohm’s law.
Additional Information
- Core hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm, M-F.
- Hourly rate is $22 per hour.
- No relocation benefit is offered; candidates must be within a 50-mile radius.
