Job Description
Overview
AT&F is seeking a Welder to build large complex fabrications for submarines in Cleveland. The company, founded in 1940, specializes in metal fabrication and offers a supportive team environment with a focus on teamwork and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Weld various parts in different materials.
- Conduct dimensional inspections of parts and check for quality requirements.
- Understand and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Work with Operations and Weld Engineering to execute various types of projects.
- Perform grinding, sanding, and cutting (oxy fuel and hand plasma).
- Adhere to lean manufacturing initiatives, quality requirements, and safety programs.
- Perform general welding and shop duties as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in welding of Carbon, Stainless, or High Alloy Steels.
- Experience in FCAW and GMAW Spray Transfer.
- Experience welding thick to thin structural members.
- Strong overall mechanical aptitude.
- HS diploma or equivalent.

Additional Information
- Multiple shifts available: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift (4 - 10 hour shifts), Weekend Shift (3 - 12 hour shifts, work 36 hours get paid for 40 hours).
