The Welder I position involves fabricating and assembling metal structures under direct supervision, contributing to a culture of teamwork and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Spot welds together metal components.
• Fabricates and assembles metal structures and equipment using welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.
• Produces metal products according to specifications.
• Reads and interprets diagrams, sketches, and blueprints to determine operations, required materials, and timeframes for projects.
• Sets up, operates, and maintains welding equipment.

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic ability to read engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
• Requires precision control and dexterity.
• Able to move objects weighing up to 75 pounds.

Additional Information

• This is an hourly non-exempt role.
• Employees in this role are eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week.
