Overview

The Workshop Technician role involves reviewing HS2 documentation, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and meeting production targets in a manufacturing environment. The position is based at an advanced manufacturing facility in Chandler, AZ, where teamwork and access to cutting-edge technology are emphasized.

Responsibilities

  • Review HS2 documentation on a daily basis.
  • Use the correct PPE and obey required BAM processes and procedures.
  • Meet daily production targets regarding quality, volume, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with zone members and the Zone Leader to establish priorities.
  • Inspect parts, assemblies, and systems according to defined criteria.
  • Perform daily checks on calibrated tooling prior to use.
  • Conduct leak tests and assist in troubleshooting failures.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Report problems to management and seek assistance for complex issues.
  • Maintain a clean working area according to good housekeeping practices.
  • Maintain established quality and time standards and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately.
  • Raise issues and observations at SIM2 meetings.
  • Follow the Kanban system.

Requirements

  • High School education, preferably in a mechanical/technical field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing or a similar field.
  • Ability to work with hand and power tools.
  • Good PC literacy; experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • Ability to read drawings, schematics, and published specifications.
  • Some knowledge of English is a huge advantage.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and have time flexibility.
  • Detail-oriented person with faithfulness.
