Overview

Join our team as an Electro-Mechanical Technician supporting Drilling Services at Weatherford. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the mechanical assembly of drilling equipment according to quality specifications while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assembly operations following engineered drawings and established procedures.
  • Assemble equipment per specifications and inspect completed components for accuracy and functionality.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and engineering assembly drawings.
  • Perform precision soldering of electronic components.
  • Operate and maintain electronic testing equipment including pulsers, flow meters, and multimeters.
  • Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Handle radioactive source materials in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain an orderly work area and properly care for company-supplied tooling.
  • Contribute to developing new procedures and improving existing ones.
  • Comply with all Weatherford safety rules, quality policies, and company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of assembly or manufacturing experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • May require up to 10% domestic and potentially international travel.
